BAFN600 is a specified unit in the Master of Finance and Graduate Certificate in Finance. You will learn and apply concepts of risk and return, raising funds through issuing shares and bonds, investment evaluation, dividend policy, cost of capital, capital structure, leverage, working capital management and data analysis tools in finance. You will learn how to compare and contrast the role of finance managers in financing and investment decisions. You will further develop skills in identifying and analysing financial data using appropriate statistical and mathematical techniques. You will be to apply finance and quantitative techniques to construct responsible financial management plans to enable human flourishing. This unit provides you with necessary knowledge and skills needed to key business decisions relative to financing, investment and dividend are made.
