ABV is an international development agency with a unique focus on strengthening business and economic institutions with a vision of alleviating poverty through inclusive economic growth.
ABV implements projects throughout Asia Pacific and in Australia, building capacity by transferring skills and knowledge always with a focus on strengthening communities and alleviating poverty. Each project has been designed by experts in international and community development, and then implemented by skilled volunteers.

As an ACU staff member, you can apply for up to five days each year to participate in approved community engagement activities that contribute to the common good, address social justice issues in the community, and help those experiencing disadvantage or marginalisation.
This policy has been developed to support staff to participate in community engagement activities and outlines time release arrangements during normal working hours.
