Banksia Gardens Community Services is committed to reducing disadvantage, transforming lives and strengthening communities. We are a vibrant Neighbourhood House, a community services organisation and a registered charity located in Broadmeadows in Melbourne's north.
In partnership with community groups, Hume City council, businesses, and schools we deliver programs to assist disadvantaged individuals, families and young people living in the adjacent Banksia Gardens Public Housing Estate, the Broadmeadows area, and suburbs across Hume.
As a volunteer tutor you will assist with reading, homework, and games-based/project-based activities at our Broadmeadows community centre. Support and supervision is provided. The benefits of volunteering with our team includes:
