The MECA Youth Mentoring Program involves providing life skills mentoring and early intervention activities to youth at high risk to prevent them from engaging in criminal activity or anti-social behaviour. The program is delivered by Mount Druitt Ethnic Communities Agency in collaboration with partner organisations including, Western Sydney University, TAFE NSW, Headspace and Global Skills.
The role
You will be a MECA Youth Mentor who will be expected to attend and facilitate mentoring sessions on Tuesdays throughout Term 3 and 4 of the 2022 school year. Facilitation involves you working within a team to take turns presenting the weekly topic.
