Berengarra is part of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne's Residential Services and is a leading and trusted provider of aged care, in partnership with the Victorian Government. It provides care and a home for 90 residents in Kew.
Community Engagement at Berengarra provides the opportunity to work with an experienced lifestyle team, developing rapport with the elderly, including older people living with dementia and mental health illnesses. You will be a link to the wider community by providing a listening ear, respect and understanding as you share time and have the opportunity to observe life in a residential setting.
Alongside the lifestyle team, you will encourage residents to participate in recreational activities, such as small group games, exercise to music, art therapy, discussion groups, strength and balance, choir and Happy Hour.
