Archbishop Mark Coleridge, who formally convoked the Fifth Plenary Council of Australia in May 2021, will reflect on the continuing relevance of the Second Vatican Council 60 years on, the papacy of Pope Francis which is now in its 10th year, and the new disposition of a ‘listening church’ that the synodal process has brought within the Catholic Church.

This event is hosted by ACU’s Research Centre for Studies of the Second Vatican Council, and led by Reverend Associate Professor Ormond Rush, Associate Professor of Religion and Theology at ACU.
