Bachelor of Arts (Honours) student, Madeline

"I was one of six representatives of ACU to the Victorian Parliamentary internship where I developed a research report on the state of rural health in Shepparton. Working with Suzanna Sheed (Independent MP for Shepparton), I interviewed local doctors, members of the primary health network and representatives from rural health universities to create a report that was submitted to a senate inquiry. This was a needed report that had real-world impact."

We're embedded in community and industry

The National School of Arts and Humanities has partnered with Clunes Booktown Festival for two years' running. Attended by thousands of visitors in the historic township of Clunes in Regional Victoria. In 2023, four of our Honours students helped develop the 2024 program as part of their Honours Internship unit.

"One of the highlights of the Clunes festival this year was enjoying the panels curated by our Honours students. The organisers particularly valued their creative imagination and energy."
