Dr Alyse Wilcox is a lecturer in sport, exercise and health psychology at ACU.
Dr Wilcox worked as a lecturer at Victoria University for several years before beginning at ACU in 2016. She is an Ahpra registered psychologist and has industry experience working with several sporting organisations, including AFL Victoria, AFL Academies programs, Womens’ High Performance Gymnastic Centre, Athletics Australia, and the Canoes Plus Racing Team.
Dr Wilcox currently combines her work as a lecturer with her work as the AFL umpires’ psychologist. Her research interests include coach and athlete wellbeing, coach-athlete dynamics, and the mental and physical predictors of injury.
