Get the tools and training you need

We've created a suite of tools and resources to help you help children, young people, families and their communities. Anyone is welcome to access these resources. We also offer program evaluation and training for professionals.

Tuned In

Tuned In is a set of six online modules designed for adults working with young people, particularly those working in group settings. Each module is based on evidence and offers practical techniques for ensuring safe and effective facilitation. The modules equip adults with knowledge about how to support and empower young people and helps them build confidence in group work.

We teamed up with NAPCAN and Run Against Violence to create this learning tool. Visit the NAPCAN website for information on how to begin the online training.

Research to Practice Series

The ICPS Research to Practice Series links the findings of research undertaken by ICPS, to the development of policy and practice in the area of child, youth and family welfare. Four new issues are produced each year, which are freely available to download from the website.

Kids Central Toolkit

The Kids Central Toolkit offers workers and services information, resources, videos and tools to use in their work with children, young people and families. The Toolkit is based around six key principles that support child-centred practice. Each principle includes a range of tools and resources, which you can download for your practice. We also offer training to help workers and services learn how to use the Toolkit and develop skills in child-centred practice.

Keeping Kids Central

Keeping Kids Central is a self-directed online series of modules that can help develop knowledge and understanding of child-safe and child-centred practice. It explores the conditions and factors that facilitate child-safe environments when working with families experiencing domestic and family violence. The practice tools are especially suitable for engaging and supporting children and young people experiencing vulnerability.
