Engaging children and young people to share their insights on strategies that keep them safe is a vital component of our research. Their views are invaluable in reducing the risks associated with institutional child sexual abuse. We have built a body of research that applies a child-informed approach to understanding safety. Our research tools capture the extent to which they are safe and feel safe in a variety of institutional contexts.
