Announcing relaunch of Children Australia journal

We offer our congratulations to all involved in the recent publication of the journal Children Australia. Published by the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, Children Australia is guided by Editors In Chief:

  • Associate Professor Tim Moore, Deputy Director of the Institute of Child Protection Studies, Australian Catholic University
  • Professor Sharon Bessell, Australian National University
  • Adjunct Professor Dave Vicary, Good Shepherd and Monash University.

The journal aims to act as a forum to bring together children, young people, practitioners and researchers to find new ways of responding to some 'wicked problems' while exploring contemporary challenges that children, young people and families now encounter.

It will play a crucial role in developing and sharing policy and legislative approaches and service models that are appropriate for Australia's unique social, cultural, historical and economic contexts, while engaging with and contributing to ideas globally.
