We are delighted to see the recent publication of the newly re-established journal Children Australia and to contribute to its first edition. It will play a crucial role in developing and sharing policy and legislative approaches and service models that are appropriate for Australia’s unique social, cultural, historical and economic contexts, while engaging with and contributing to ideas globally.
Published by the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, Children Australia is guided by the Institute’s Deputy Director, Tim Moore with Co-Editors In Chief:
They have reinvigorated the journal as a forum to bring together children, young people, practitioners and researchers to find new ways of responding to some ‘wicked problems’ while exploring contemporary challenges that children, young people and families now encounter.
The team at ICPS wishes the journal well and looks forward to contributing to these incredibly important discussions.
