What are you currently studying?

I’m studying the Bachelor of Paramedicine, and in my second year.

Why did you choose ACU?

I chose ACU due to its convenience in size and location. ACU is easy to navigate, and the smaller number of students means I have the opportunity to get to know my entire cohort. More specifically, I chose ACU due to the subjects offered within the paramedicine course.

What do you enjoy most about attending university?

I enjoy the flexibility in regards to studying and self-directed learning. And I like the sense of community within the University, along with the wide variety of sport and social opportunities. Studying at university also allows me to experience what it's like to work as a paramedic in allocated placements throughout my study. In these placements I'm able to consolidate my knowledge through the application of skills learnt in the classroom.

What do you enjoy about being a Widening Participation Ambassador?

I enjoy the variety of people I get to meet and engage with and the opportunity to share my study and university experience with these students.
