Many students are highly motivated and deserving but face obstacles to their studies. These obstacles could be financial hardship; chronic illness; disabilities; regional or remote disadvantage; sole parent or carer responsibilities; refugee status, or difficulties with English.
The Creating Opportunity Fund aims to break down these barriers to higher education, and help students reach their potential.
In 2019 ACU was proud to announce the release of the first 20 Creating Opportunity Fund scholarships and will continue to release an additional 20 scholarships each year.
But the Creating Opportunity Fund can't exist without support from donors like you. By supporting the fund, you will directly help us create more than 100 scholarships for our students in the near future. Even a small gift will create a legacy that benefits many ACU students for generations to come.
With an endowed fund, only the interest is distributed, so the principle can continue to grow. This means that when you make even a small gift to this fund, your contribution will create a legacy that benefits many ACU students for years to come.

Everyone should be entitled to education and by donating to ACU’s Creating Opportunity Fund, your generosity can make a significant difference by breaking down barriers to higher education and help students in need to reach their potential.
All gifts of $2 or more to ACU are tax deductible within Australia, and 100 per cent of your donation will always go to the cause you have generously chosen to support.
