Admission requirements
A candidate for the degree of Master of Education (Research) must comply with the Research and Professional Doctorate Degree Regulations.
Eligibility for admission to the Master of Education (Research) is determined having regard to the applicant’s capacity to meet the entry requirements approved by the Academic Board. Eligibility criteria for the degree as outlined below:
- A four year Bachelor of Education degree (or equivalent) with a credit average or higher.
International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Program Policy.
Special admission
Applicants who do not meet the general entry requirements but who have other qualifications and/or professional experience may be considered for special entry to the course.
Completion requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 20 cp from Research Units;
- 140 cp from the Thesis.
