This unit investigates theories and paradigms of curriculum development that may have had a bearing on the development of Catholic school religious education curricula, including reference to influential Church documents. It also addresses issues in pedagogy, evaluation, assessment and reporting as well as reflective practice. It examines the philosophical, theoretical and practical aspects of curriculum development issues, together with implications for policy, program development and classroom practice.
