EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

New South Wales

GPA of 5.50 on the ACU seven point scale or greater in the first 4 semesters of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.

Students will be ranked according to their GPA and the offer of a place in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) program and the number of places offered will be at the discretion of the School.

Students must pass all units in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) program. Failure to do so may result in students being transferred back to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.

Queensland

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Honours degree a student must complete 320 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 70 cp from Specified Honours units (Part A)
  2. 10 cp from Inter-professional units (Part B)
  3. 150 cp from Physiotherapy Practice units (Part C)
  4. 40 cp from Physiotherapy Honours units (Part D);
  5. 40 cp from Allied Health Honours Units (Part E)
  6. 10 cp from University Core Curriculum units (Part F)

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.

Exit points

A student who has successfully completed 230 cp from units, and 10 cp from Core Curriculum units may exit from the course with following qualification:

  • Bachelor of Allied Health

Progression requirements

Students need to complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300-level), unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.

Students must pass all units in the Honours program. Failure to do so may result in students being transferred from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) back to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.
