EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
Admission requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor (Honours) degree, a student must have completed at least 120 cp of LAWS units from the Bachelor of Laws degree, with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.75.

Completion requirements
To qualify for the double degree with Laws (Honours), a student must complete 400 cp as follows:
- 160 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree, consisting of:
- 130 cp from Bachelor of Business Administration Specified Units (Part A);
- 10 cp from Business Elective unit or BIPX202 Community Engagement: Building Strengths and Capabilities (Part B)
- 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part C)
- 240 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws, consisting of:
- 180 cp from Law Specified Units (Part D);
- 10 cp from Law Elective Units (Part E);
- 10 cp LAWS450 Legal Research and Methodology (Part F);
- 30 cp from LAWS451 Honours Thesis (Part G); and
- 10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono Unit (Part H).
- To qualify for the Honours degree, at least four of the units taken from the Law Specified Units and/or the Law Elective Units must be at level 4. To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Other requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
Progression requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300, 400 level) in that sequence.
