EFTSL value of units : All 10cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a credit point (cp) value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
Admission requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy that includes meeting minimum ATAR requirement.
International applicants must meet the English Language Requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

Completion requirements
To qualify for the double degree, a student must complete 400 cp, as follows:
- 200 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, consisting of:
- 120 cp from Criminology Specified Units (Part A);
- 40 cp from LAWS Specified Units (Part B);
- 10 cp from Specified Multi-Disciplinary Unit (Part C);
- 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part D);
- 10 cp LCRM304 Community Engagement Unit (Part E);
- 200 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws, consisting of:
- 150 cp from LAWS Prescribed Units (Part F);
- 40 cp from LAWS Elective Units (Part G);
- 10 cp from LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono Unit (Part H).
To qualify for the Bachelor of Laws degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Other requirements
Students must have completed the Specified LAWS units (LAWS104, LAWS106, LAWS107) in the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, in addition to the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws, to meet the accreditation requirements for the Bachelor of Laws.
Progression requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progression through this course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
