To be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor (Honours) degree, a student must have completed at least 120 cp of LAWS units from the Bachelor of Laws degree, with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.75.

Completion requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 320 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 180 cp from Law Specified Units (Part A);
- 10 cp LAWS450 Legal Research and Methodology (Part B);
- 30 cp LAWS451 Honours Thesis (Part C);
- 50 cp from Law Elective Units (Part D);
- 20 cp Core Curriculum Units (Part E);
- 20 cp from General Elective Units (Part F);
- 10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono (Part G)
To qualify for the Honours degree, at least four of the units taken from the Law Specified Units and/or the Law Elective Units must be at level 4. To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Other requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
