To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

Definition
A Major consists of 80 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level, at least 40 cp at 200-level and at least 20 cp at 300-level.
A Minor consists of 40 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level and at least 20 cp at 200/300-level.
Completion requirements
To qualify for the double degrees, a student must complete 400 cp that meet all of the following requirements:
For the Theology component:
160 cp from Bachelor of Theology units, comprising:
- 80 cp from Major in either Biblical Studies or Christian Thought (Part A);
- 40 cp from Minor in either Biblical Studies or Christian Thought in the alternative discipline to (i) above (Part B);
- 20 cp from specified Theology or Philosophy Units (Part C); and
- 20 cp Core Curriculum Units (Part D)
For the Law component:
240 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws, consisting of:
- 180 cp from Law Specified Units (Part E);
- 50 cp from Law Elective Units (Part F);
- 10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono Unit (Part G).
To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Progression requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300 or 400-level).
