Note:

Students in Sydney will be enrolled at the Strathfield Campus, however, some units are undertaken at the North Sydney Campus. Students will not be required to travel between campuses on the same day.

Blacktown Campus: offers all units.


EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

An applicant must comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science/Bachelor of Nutrition Science degree, a student must complete 330 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

a. 170cp from Exercise and Sports Science Units consisting of:

  1. 150 cp from Specified Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science Units (Part A);
  2. 20 cp from Professional Experience Units including EXSC206 Professional Experience Preparation (0 cp) (Part B);

AND

b: 160 cp from Bachelor of Nutrition Science Units consisting of:

  1. 140 in Specified Bachelor of Nutrition Science Units (Part C);
  2. 20 cp from University Core Curriculum Units (Part D).

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.

In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
