ACU is creating the next generation of exercise scientists and high performance sport graduates capable of supporting athletes and the general population using cutting-edge innovation in sports science.
Conveniently located at Blacktown International Sportspark, the BEST Hub allows ACU to deliver better health outcomes for all through research and industry partnerships, while educating tomorrow’s exercise scientists.
Our collaborative space provides access to a $1.5m environmental chamber, capable of controlling changes in temperature and oxygen availability. It also features a range of specialist bone imaging, exercise physiology and biomechanics facilities, so our academic and industry partners can collaborate to translate research more accurately into clinical practice.
The BEST Hub is also home to top-of-the-range sporting facilities, including a strength and conditioning suite, aquatic recovery pool, and all weather and grass sports fields.

ACU has co-designed a $100m state-of-the-art facility to create specialised learning hubs providing access to cutting-edge technology, in partnership with Blacktown City Council. The Hub is available for events, training, consultancy and research.
