Anna Cronin is a lecturer of speech pathology, and academic, at the Australian Catholic University on the Brisbane campus. Anna is a certified practising speech pathologist and currently works with preschool aged children in the community, as well as teaching. The major themes of Anna's research have included supporting children with cleft palate and their families, speech sound disorders, and family centred practice. Anna received her PhD in 2020 from Charles Sturt University, for which she received the university medal for a higher degree by research. Anna has collaborated with her supervisors, Professor Sharynne McLeod and Associate Professor Sarah Verdon, and they were awarded the JCPSLP editor's award for their publication in 2020 about working with families of young children with cleft palate. Anna has extensive experience working clinically as a speech pathologist with children with cleft and craniofacial conditions and their families.
