Diane is an Associate Professor in Speech Pathology in the School of Allied Health. Diane has 20+ years of clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist working in the hospital, school, and child and adolescent mental health sectors. Diane commenced as course coordinator of the ACU Speech Pathology program in Melbourne in September 2012. She is currently the Assistant Deputy Head of School in the School of Allied Health (SoAH) Melbourne and chair of the SoAH Learning and Teaching committee. Diane's speech pathology research interests are in developmental language disorder, autism, specific learning disorder, and child and adolescent mental health and the relationship across all these presentations. She is also engaged in the scholarship of learning and teaching and has led teaching development grants in areas such as first-year assessment, professional practice simulation, and interprofessional education.
