Jessica Stewart is a Lecturer in Nursing at ACU in Melbourne. She has worked as a nurse in a range of settings in Victoria and internationally. Her specialty area is Intensive Care Nursing and she completed a Post Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Critical Care) in 2009.

Jessica is passionate about nursing education (she completed a Master of Education in 2017) and has a focus on supporting Bachelor of Nursing (BN) students who are Enrolled Nurses (EN).

Jessica was the lead in a Higher Education and Participation Program (HEPPP) project in that developed resources to support the transition of this cohort to ACU. She also completed a minor thesis exploring the impact of clinical EN experience on transition to a BN program.

When she is not working you can find her outside in the garden or exploring the country with her vintage caravan and young family.
