Overview

The EQuITE system provides a central source of Evidence for Quality in Initial Teacher Education enabling outcomes for improving quality and impact of teacher education through collaborative partnerships.

EQuITE is a data warehouse and software system for compiling, storing and analysing data on initial teacher education (ITE) for cohorts of individual pre-service teachers from multiple participating higher education institutions (HEIs). The system incorporates the user-friendly GTPA App enabling partner institutions to submit their data securely with enforced parameters on data formats and prompts that ensure standardised and valid data entry. It will also include capabilities for generating automated reports that will provide confidential evidence to HEIs from their own data and a repository of de-identified longitudinal data to support research for identifying factors that improve teacher quality and ultimately student outcomes.
