This guide is designed to help you plan your enrolment for the first year. It doesn’t include the full details of your course but it will help you enrol in your initial units. This guide should be read in conjunction with the course map and course rules.

By carefully following the advice here you will be correctly enrolled in your units for the first year. Enrolling in units that are not part of the course rules may mean that you cannot finish on time and you may have to take additional units to meet the requirements. If you are unsure about any aspects of your course, please contact your Course Coordinator. More information about progressing to the second year will be provided in your first year.

The Handbook is an important document that provides details about your course rules. You should become familiar with it now as it will be useful throughout your course. Select the current year and type the name of your course into the search field.

We recommend you complete your enrolment on a desktop or laptop computer instead of on a mobile device.

Select your course from the list below

Choose your teaching areas

In this course, you must select two different teaching areas of study that you would like to teach, for example, English and Geography.

You will choose from the available studies in the Teaching Area List . One from the Teaching Area 1 group and one from the Teaching Area 2 group, subject to availability on your campus. If you aren't sure, choose something that you think you might be interested in. You will be allowed to change your teaching area/s over the next 18 months.

When you have selected your two teaching areas, find the relevant units in the Table of Units. Find two units for Teaching Area 1 (one in Semester 1 and one in Semester 2) and one unit for Teaching Area 2 ( in Semester 2). When you have found your three units, write them down so you can easily remember them later.

You cannot choose the teaching areas of Biology, Chemistry, Physical Education, Outdoor Education or Design and Technologies in this course.
