A message from Dr Nicola Brown, Australian Catholic University National Postgraduate Programs Coordinator:
A very happy new year to all our industry colleagues - I hope you enjoyed some time away from work with good friends and family over the holiday period.
The transition of clinical specialties in the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing to ACU Online (ACUO) continues. We are delighted that the medical and renal nursing specialties will be offered for the first time via ACUO this month in Term 1, commencing 30 January, with surgical and neuroscience specialties for implementation later in 2023.
The final review processes for our courses in the Master of Health Leadership and Management are almost complete. All of our remaining postgraduate units will move to a new and streamlined learning platform, commencing Semester 2, 2023. We look forward to bringing you more news of these exciting changes in the next newsletter.
The ACU postgraduate team is preparing for the start of Semester 1 on 27 February, and I know that many of our industry partners are working on preparations for affiliate programs too. I wish you all the best for the semester ahead. Don't hesitate to contact the team if you need advice during this process.
Our postgraduate team look forward to meeting with you as the year progresses. Please keep us in mind for any local events where we can contribute too - we are always happy to talk with colleagues about pathways to postgraduate studies at ACU.
University Orientation begins Monday 20 February and will help students become best prepared for study. A postgraduate Orientation session on Thursday 23 February will provide a general overview of postgraduate study at ACU and the opportunity to ask course coordinators specific questions.

Semester 2 finished well on 23 October, and students received results on 2 December 2022.
We look forward to conferring degrees at graduation ceremonies around the country in the coming months.

Melbourne - 3 - 5 May 2023
Sydney - 16 - 18 May 2023
Mandy El Ali will continue as the Industry Partner Manager in Victoria, and Nicola Brown will continue as the Industry Partner Manager in New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory. We are currently looking to appoint a new Industry Partner Manager in Queensland.
We are also setting up meetings with our affiliate partners for planning and information sharing purposes for the 2023 academic year. We are hoping to do as many in person as we can.
