Completion requirements

To qualify for the double degree, a student must complete 320 cp, consisting of:

  1. 210 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings for the Bachelor of Nursing, consisting of:
  2. 60 cp from Interdisciplinary Learning Units (Part A);
  3. 90 cp from Nursing Theory Units (Part B);
  4. 60 cp from Clinical Nursing Practice Units (Part C);
  5. 100 cp from Paramedicine units, consisting of:
  6. 50 cp from Paramedicine Theory Units (Part D)
  7. 30 cp from Paramedicine Practice Units (Part E)
  8. 20 cp from Paramedicine Theory and Practice Combined Units (Part F)
  9. 10 cp from University Core Curriculum Units (Part G).

Other requirements

Successful completion of professional and community engagement experiences.

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.

Progression requirements

Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300-level) in that sequence. Unit prerequisites have been minimised to assist student progression through the program. Prerequisites preclude students from enrolling in units where foundational knowledge is insufficient.
